Royal Academy of Music worked with Microsoft Surface Hub to write an original composed piece of music. A new creative process, using the power of remote teaching and collaborative learning.

The piece was to be written remotely from the Royal Academy in Marylebone using the new latest hub technology to create, write and share their work straight into our studios at Angel. The orchestra had surface tablets on their music stands awaiting the score from the students at the Royal Academy, who were writing as a collaborative group using the Microsoft Hub software. Once the work was written they shared the scores and conducted the orchestra remotely. Is the future of recordings?
